Why This Blog?

This blog is for the songs.

As a writer sometimes (well, most times) I'd like to see a few more people hear the music. Even more, I'd like the people who are hearing the music to understand the point.

Beyond this introductory blog, each blog here will pertain to a song I've written. You'll see the lyrics, and if I have anything enlightening to add about the message, the writing or the history of the song, i'll try to give you that here also. Ocassionally there will be a link to where the song can be heard also, but less than I would like. I'm trying as we speak to capture listenable recordings of my music. I'll do the best I can, but don't expect a link every time and don't expect a professionally polished recording when you see one!

In all my blogging I welcome feedback, comments and even criticisms. Even more so here. Much of my music is worship. If you hear or read something you might be interested in playing or learning, just ask.
